Stone urns for holding the ashes of the deceased, shaped like Roman temples. Roman and Etruscan cultures, 1st–2nd centuries CE (Italy). 
Average dimensions: width 38 cm, depth 34 cm, height 39 cm.
Sometimes, in addition to the ashes, remnants of clothing and utensils were also placed inside these stone boxes (urns).
The cremation of the dead and the placement of their ashes in a stone box characterized the pagan population of Rome in the 1st and 2nd centuries CE
